Kiambu county government will spend Sh60 million to fund various projects in Ngoliba ward this financial year, the Member of County Assembly for the area Grinston Ngigi has said.

He, however, cautioned people who will be awarded tenders to ensure that they should not delay the projects in the area.

The MCA who was addressing Ngoliba residents on Wednesday morning at Nyinga Market said that the women groups in the area would benefit from Sh500,000 to start income generating projects.

Ngigi added that the feeder roads in the area would be constructed at a cost of Sh2.1 million shillings to ease transportation of goods in the ward.

He also said that Ngoliba and Rukindu dispensaries would be given facelifts at a cost of Sh2 million and Sh1 million respectively.

The MCA said that youths in the ward would benefit from Sh3 million set aside for their projects and urged the youths to form common interest groups in order to access the kitty.

The legislator also said that people living with HIV/AIDS in the area would get water storage tanks from the county government.
