It was pomp and colour at the Blue Post Hotel as Thika played host to the Mashujaa 2015 Awards ceremony as well as the Mr & Miss Mashujaa beauty pageant.
All roads headed to the hotel sandwiched by two falls on Tuesday evening to witness the event. People filled Batian Hall, dressing in all colours and fashion trends, showcasing the beauty of the Kenyan taste.
The occasion, organised by Amo La Moda Kenya, was done in honour of Kenya's heroes and heroines, both living and those who have passed on, in recognition of their personal contributions to the progress of the country.
Various "Shujaas" who had been nominated from virtually all spheres of life were feted after an online and SMS voting by fans that had been going on for more than a month.
