Police officers on Thursday morning arrested a man with 350 rolls of bhang in Kibera at Olympic estate.
Confirming the incident was the Olympic Chief Peter Mwangi who said that the security officers had been informed by some residents who had suspected the group of men roaming around a shop in the area.
“I was alerted by some traders who have been seeing the group of men around one shop and so I called in police officers who managed to arrest one man with 350 rolls of bhang,” said Mwangi.
“The gang of almost 5 men aged between 19 and 28 idles in this shop regularly and have been seen selling bhang to the young people of this area," said Collins, a resident from the area.
The chief has confirmed that the police will begin a manhunt for the rest who escaped and also assured that if found guilty, the suspect would face the law.
