Kisii county residents have raised concern over their MCAs for not attending their sittings to discuss issues that can help the common mwananchi and other development of the county.
Speaking on Thursday at Kisii main stage Nyaribari Chache constituency Kisii county, some of the residents have said that it is so embarrassing to hear that their MCAs they are not attending their sittings to discuss and pass some bills that can enable the county to improve its developments due to payments delay of sitting allowances.
“I am shocked to hear that my MCA has not attended the sittings for 2 days to represent my views to county parliament and I elected him to represent me and pass bill that can help me,” urged Lydia Moraa Business.
They have urged people in charge to speed up and help the situation since they do not want Kisii County to sound like other Counties where such occurrences are frequent.
“I urge people in charge to solve the matter so that they are paid and come back to the business so that we can enjoy the fruits of devolution,” Moranga James Urged.
According to residents they have confident on their MCAs since they are the ones who lead them to know what is supposed to be done in order Kisii County to be the leading County.
