A case in which Machakos County public service board Secretary Rosemary Mulee is seeking to block the county assembly committee from probing her is expected to be heard today at Machakos Law Courts.
The county assembly passed a censor motion two months ago against Mulee accusing her of abuse of office.
Mulee moved to court on Monday to protest being grilled by the assembly committee that has been formed to probe her saying that it constitutes her accusers whom she says cannot be the ones to investigate her.
"This is against the principle of natural justice. My complainants cannot sit in the same committe that is investigating me. The process is flawed and a decision has already been made and they are just taking me through a mock exercise", Mulee told the press after filing the case at Machakos court.
Other accusations that led to her censor include allegations of gross misconduct, irregular hiring, promotion and termination of workers' contracts. She however maintains that she has always performed her duties within the law.
