A middle aged man from Ramba area in Nyamira South is currently fighting for his life in Nyamira Hospital after being stabbed by an unknown assilant while he was heading to work.
According to his wife Jerusah Momanyi, her husband who is identified as Maurice Momanyi screamed in pain a few minutes after he left to go to work early on Tuesday.
She added that upon rushing to the place where the incident occurred, they found him lying down with knife injuries but that they did not see any one else around. They then rushed him to the nearest clinic and were later on referred to Nyamira Hospital.
The area Assistant Chief Joshua Masi confirmed the incident saying that he had already received the report and that he is working with the area police and villagers to ensure that they get to know the culprit.
