Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago has asked road contractors in the county to speed up the projects they are working on so that residents can enjoy the services.
Governor Mandago who spoke when he inspected road constructions in Eldoret town warned lazy contractors. Mandago said that all road renovations and repairs must be completed within the stipulated time.
He said contractors will have to devote to their work and make sure that they finish the work on time adding that the county government is spending huge amount of money on infrastructure development and that it would be fair if the projects are completed within the set time frame.
“We want the projects to be completed on time so that citizens can enjoy the services,” said Governor Mandago.
Mandago said the government had started massive renovations of roads across the county, noting that several roads have been earmarked for repair and renovation this financial year.
Mandago stated that infrastructure development is one of the key priorities for his government.
He intimated that through good infrastructure development, the county will connect with other regions in the county.
Mandago asked Uasin Gishu citizens to support his development agenda.
