The information which was posted on the website on Tuesday requires the graduates to confirm their graduation status by November 4th.

'The list of prospective graduates will be posted on the university website on the 4th of November. Prospective graduates who are missing on the list should contact their respective deans for verification', read the statement.

The postponement can be linked to the recent events witnessed at the institution where part of the administration block was reduced to ashes.

Reacting to the postponement, students expecting to graduate have expressed their concerns over the lack of a date for the supplementary examinations.

'I have a supplementary exam that am supposed to undertake but according to the graduation timetable, there is no slot for the exams,' posted Harun Kimani on the university's Facebook page.

The supplementary exams were supposed to be administered on the 15th of this month but later postponed due to student unrest witnessed at the institution.
