An MCA from Siaya County, famous for stripping at a press conference, has warned the Majority Leader Aden Duale to stop his persistent attacks on Cord Leader Raila Odinga.
Central Gem MCA Fred Ouda said Duale has formed a habit of hitting the Cord Leader on national issues.
He said Duale should have in mind that the Cord leader is not his equal adding that he should let the President and his Deputy address Mr Odinga.
“As a member of county assembly, I was elected with more votes than Duale and he should engage me not Raila,” he said.
Speaking at a press conference in Kisumu on Monday, Ouda said Odinga is a national leader adding that Duale should respect that.
Ouda said Odinga has the right to put the Jubilee government in check especially given that there are numerous cases of scandals that have bedevilled the Jubilee government.
He said the Jubilee government is trying to divert the attention of Kenyans on various issues affecting the common man in Kenya.
Ouda urged other Cord MPs to come out and defend the Cord leader from such unwarranted attacks from the Jubilee administration.
“Cord MPs and by extension ODM legislators have kept quite as Duale continues to bad mouth our party leader. They should come up and respond to these utterances from Duale,” he said.
In June this year, the MCA caused a stir when he stripped naked in a press conference to protest at a tweet that was deemed offensive to Cord Leader Raila Odinga.
