Hotels are opening metres away from the Proctor & Allan Factory establishment under construction in Limuru town.

The factory is moving its main plant in Industrial area in Nairobi to Limuru. It manufactures cornflakes, porridge flour and rice crispies among other products.

The factory will not only be a source of employment but also be a source of income for businesses in the town. The hotel entrepreneurs are eyeing the hundreds of customers who will be working at the factory. The workers will need to take tea, eat lunch and even supper depending on their work time schedule.
