It seems that Nakuru County Governor, Kinuthia Mbugua and Nakuru East MP David Gikaria are setting their differences aside.

Gikaria has hinted that he will be supporting Governor Kinuthia come 2017 in an unforeseen turn of events.

Speaking in meeting that was held at Nakuru in honor of the county assembly speaker, Gikaria noted he is working to improve the lives of people in the Nakuru County saying that even though they have had disagreements a united leadership is important for Nakuru county residents.

He has also said that the number of years that the governor has been in the office is not adequate to have done everything.

“We had many pledges during the campaigns by our governor but five years is too little for him to achieve all the projects he had proposed, so we will give him more time” Gikaria said

The two have collided on several occasion in the past with the recent bone of contention being the removal of hawkers from Nakuru’s Central business district and the recent war on illicit brews in the county in which Gikaria had accused the governor of doing very little to effect the directive.
