Speaking on Monday during prize giving ceremony, the school Principal, Paul Chamuchi said they are overstretched with the high enrolment of students, and therefore asked well-wishers to come in and help in the building of extra classrooms.

Chamuchi also said they are in dire need of a spacious and updated library, teacher quarters, latrines, employment of more teachers and piped water.

“We ask well-wishers to come on our help. If we will have enough teachers, library, classrooms, water, modern dormitories, teacher quarters, beds and beddings, generator and school bus to help us in tours and benchmarking with other schools, we will definitely achieve our target of 9.2 points and above,” said principal Chamuchi.

He noted that if they are supported in all that, they will attain higher marks from 9.5 points that they scored in the last year KSCE.

According to the principal, they are targeting a mean of 9.2 plus, and in their 2020 vision, the school will be a boarding school.

The school has enrolment of 610 students, with the number expected to be higher, according to the principal.
