Motorists in Naivasha have been urged to be careful during the EL nino rains in order to avoid accidents due to heavy rains and flooding.
Speaking in Naivasha on Wednesday, Naivasha traffic boss Phelomon Wambua urged the operators to take precaution especially when there is mist and fog by switching on their lights and controlling their speed so that they can be identified by incoming vehicles.
Wambua further called on motorists to follow and observe traffic rules by following stipulated speed limits especially when getting into towns. He also cautioned boda boda operators against transporting more than one passenger.
He on another note challenged them to form groups and register themselves for security reasons.
