Students from Nakuru Boys High School were filled with joy as they visited the Nakuru County assembly on Tuesday.

They were to witness the proceedings at the assembly as MCAs engaged on the floor.

The students were to learn about devolution, including its structures and implementation.

They were accompanied by some of their teachers.

Among the key issues discussed in the afternoon programme included disbursement of bursaries to the sub-counties, a motion that sparked lots of debate in the house where members took different stands concerning the disbursement of the funds to sub-counties.
