The event was also attended by the Educaion CeC, Francis Mathea, County Secretary Joseph Motari together with Nakuru County Youth President Phillip Ng'ok.

The Youth week whose theme is 'Youth Civic Engagement' is aimed at empowering the youth and giving them a platform where they can play a role in the growth and development of Nakuru County whilst showing the government's recognition of their role in society.

The week that ends on September 26, will see a youth caravan transverse several constituencies within the county and will be concluded by a cultural gala at the Nakuru Player’s theatre.

On Monday, the caravan is scheduled to visit Nakuru West, Nakuru East, Bahati and Subukia where it will spend at least two hours in each constituency.

The Caravan will then visit Rongai, Gilgil and Naivasha Sub-Counties on Tuesday and on Wednesday the caravan will tour Njoro Sub-County, head off for Molo and then Kuresoi South finishing off at Kuresoi North.
