Kiambu nominated Member of County Assembly (MCA) Emily Warutere has urged county leaders to stop too much politicking and work towards making services available to the people.
Speaking to reporters at Thika Town on Saturday, Warutere said that continued politicking among Kiambu leaders will derail development.
She said that as leaders, they have to learn how to address and embrace divergent views without 'catching feelings' adding that politics is about different opinions and views.
“Kiambu elected and nominated leaders should stop politicking and focus on working for the people,” she said.

Warutere urged governor William Kabogo to take charge of the county and unite leaders. She stated that the county belongs to everyone and that petty politics should not be allowed to divide them.
The MCA also urged the Kiambu government to streamline services and reach out to all residents. She said that the county has the responsibility to oversee service delivery to the people.
“Kiambu gets good funding from the national government and the same should be used to improve he living standards of the people,” she added.
