Kisii Governor James Ongwae has disclosed that the digital physical development plan has been finalised, awaiting approval by the Lands Cabinet Secretary before it is officially unveiled for implementation.

Ongwae however challenged Nyamache Town market committee and area MCAs to identify land for a dumpsite and public cemetery for unclaimed bodies at the Nyamache Level 4 Hospital, to ensure the Town's expansion goes in line with the new plan.

Speaking at Nyamache stadium on Thursday, Ongwae clarified that the County Government took the initiative of developing the plan as part of the road map to facilitate the town's administration to implement growth and expansion of the town with ease.

“I am announcing to you that the digital physical development plan for Nyamache town has been finalized, and immediately it is approved by the Lands Cabinet Secretary, we will come here to officially unveil it for implementation,” stated Ongwae.

The Governor assured area residents that his government will ensure the town gets adequate street lights, to facilitate traders in the town to conduct their businesses under a secure environment, to fast-track the county's 24-hour economy dream.
