Nyamira county residents have been encouraged to properly utilise their land to boost food security and grow the economy.

Vegetables, she said, were a good source of vitamins. She encouraged the residents to embrace smart farming.

With the fertile land in the county farmers in the area can make good money without much struggle, she noted.
