Orange Kenya road show which has been taking place at Maseno University for the last one month hit its climax on Wednesday.

The occasion was marked by Orange Kenya trucks with thrilling loud music and dancers attracting more attention as their agents sold Sim cards and airtime to students.

Daniel Awoko a second year student said he has benefited much from using Orange Kenya network. He mentioned the unlimited bundles, the subsidised call rates more on the strong 3G network.

Orange network, according to students, has helped in providing internet accessibility in place of the institution’s WiFi network which they said is still being worked on.

“From the time when we resumed from our holiday, we have been experiencing challenges in accessing the internet, but since Orange conducted its road shows and marketing, we have really gained from their service,” applauded Awoko.

"Orange network has continued to gain popularity in the school" said Daisy Jebet one of the agents of the Orange Network. She added that they have made quite a good number of sales and still confident of selling more to the remaining students before the semester comes to an end.

The day ended with a competitive dance from the students where the winner was awarded an Orange Kenya branded T-Shirt.
