Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale has been challenged to produce the terrorists list before maligning Raila Odinga’s name with Mumias sugar debt.
Nyando MP Fred Outa said Duale is the last person who should attack Raila over the alleged debt owed to Mumias sugar.
Outa said the debt in question is tactic by the Jubilee government to divert the attention of Kenyans from talking about the sugar importation deal from Uganda.
The MP said many Kenyans have been killed by terrorists but Duale has declined after going public to produce the names of the terrorists.
“I want to ask my brother Duale to tell Kenyans who are the financiers of terrorists before talking about Raila,” he said.
Addressing a press conference in Kisumu on Monday over the sugar saga, Outa told Duale that he should first clear his name before talking about imaginary debts.
He said those who are advocating for the importation of sugar from Uganda into Kenya are the sugar barons.
Outa urged residents from Western Kenya where sugarcane is the main cash crop to be on the look out to ensure such sugar doesn’t penetrate into the market.
The MP said sugar from the local factories should be promoted to cushion the sugar industries from collapsing.
“Just the way Central people dealt with second generation liquors is the same vigor Western Kenya people should do with this cheap sugar from Uganda,” he said.
