Ruiru OCPD Isaac Thuranira has put on notice criminals operating in his area saying that they will be hunted down and dealt with accordingly.

Speaking to journalists in his office on Tuesday, Thuranira said that law enforcers have been deployed across the sub county to hunt down suspected criminal gangs.

He warned that police will not tolerate criminal acts saying that anyone found engaging in crime must be ready to face the law.

“We are tired of talking and now it is time for action. We are telling criminals that their days have come to an end,” he warned.

The OCPD urged residents to work with the police by sharing information on the whereabouts of criminals.

“Members of the public should support our efforts and work with us to tame crime,” he said.

Over the weekend, Kiambu county commissioner Alex Nkoyo warned that criminal acts will not be tolerated.

Mr Nkoyo said that adequate security measures including 24 hour patrols are being implemented to boost security.
