Masinga OCS Moraya Mwangi has warned men engaging in premarital sex with school-going girls that their days are numbered.
This comes after reports of unlawful sexual involvement with minors surfaced in the area.
Speaking from his office on Wednesday, Mwangi said that his officers are on the lookout on the criminals, including the children into pre-marital sex.
He added that the children are losing in their education as they are engaged into sex at tender ages and thus increasing the premarital pregnancies which lead to school drop outs.
“Already we have charged some of them in the courts of law and we expect anyone else to appear in court if he is not ready to change and divert from the evil ways,” OCS Mwangi said.
Mwangi noted that education is a constitutional right to every child in Kenya and no one is supposed to bar them from accessing it.
He added that the move is aimed at giving the best education to the girl child in Ukambani as they have been involved into early marriages among other evils in the society and those involved must be prosecuted.
