Three people whose decomposing bodies were found dumped in a crater in the Ol Njorai village of Gilgil two weeks ago were murdered, a post-mortem result has revealed.
The results show that the three, two men and a woman, were tortured before being hit by a blunt object on the heads.
According to a Nakuru-based pathologist who sought anonymity, the three suffered multiple head fractures – an indication that they were hit by blunt objects.
The bodies of the three were discovered by schoolchildren two weeks ago. It’s believed they were killed somewhere else before their bodies were dumped at Ol Njorai.
One of the victims had been reported missing by his kin.
Gilgil police boss Serah Koki confirmed that investigations into the incident are still ongoing. She said no one has been arrested but police are following crucial leads to nab the perpetrators.
“We request the public to provide information that will lead to the arrest of the criminals involved in the incident,” she said.
