Molo Sub-County leaders have been urged to make the area a model in the larger Nakuru County in terms of good leadership and development.
Speaking at the sub-county headquarters on Tuesday, area Deputy Commissioner Judith Cheruiyot called on local leaders to unite and work towards a common goal of overseeing a pro-development in the area where residents feel part of the desired change.
She predicted united and fully developed sub-county only if the leaders consult on how to reach out to the areas that have been neglected for long.
“We as leaders must always work together for the benefit of Molo people because they are the ones who elected us into office and must strategies on how best to deliver as per their needs and aspirations,” she said.
She termed to the people of Molo as customers who were to be subjected to good services at all the time less their work as leaders is deemed irrelevant.
“One elected into office, a leaders’ first huddle is to make an impact and leave a lasting impression where the predecessors failed, the chance is within our hands, let’s do it,” she added.
