Kisii University students have been assured of enough resources and facilitation in place to make sure the Cultural Week that commenced on Monday goes well.

Addressing students and guests who attended the opening of the Third Annual Cultural Week in the university sports ground, Kisii University Students Union, secretary Kevin Musyoka assured students that all arrangements have been done to make sure that the week is so successful.

“As the Union we have put  measures in place to make sure that this cultural week is one of the successful for achieving our goals of this year’s theme,” said Musyoka

The 2015 theme being Cultural Diversity and Development, Musyoka said that they are going to make it more involving to all students and guests to ensure they learn more about the diverse Kenyan culture.

In addition, he said that they are going to ensure that there is enough security for all participants.

"We shall make sure that there is enough security for our participants and guests for this week so that we can achieve what the week intends,"added Musyoka.

The cultural week is aimed at making students understand their culture better by where traditional food, traditional songs, and traditional houses are on display from different cultural backgrounds.
