A man facing two charges of stealing a motorcycle and electronics was released on a bond of Sh100,000 by a Machakos Court on Thursday.

Eric Ngare, 26, was accused of stealing a motorcycles worth Sh80,000 belonging to Denis Mwendi a business man from Kathiani.

The accused faced a second charge of stealing a laptop worth Sh70,000 and a Samsung phone worth Sh15,000 belonging to Mercy Kasoki, a business lady in the area.

Appearing before Machakos Principal Magistrate Catherine Obara, Ngare pleaded not guilty to both charges.

The case will be mentioned on November 5 and the hearing will be done on November 20, 2015.
