Three men were today arraigned before a Nakuru court for stealing floor building tiles.
Stephen Mwaura, Samuel Kimani and Kerrer Mwaura allegedly stole 80 cartons of building floor tiles belonging to Royal Group Kenya limited on June 30 in Longonot centre.
According to the police, the accused are employees of the Royal Group Limited.
The accused were arrested on July 2 after the owners of the property reported the incident to the police.
Stephen Mwaura was also charged with an account of stealing 145 cartons of building floor tiles worth Sh290,000 on July 1.
According to prosecutor Sererei Rop, the investigative officer took a photograph of the trailer which transported the property.
Appearing before chief magistrate Joel Ngeno, they denied the charges and were each given a Sh100,000 cash bail.
The case will be heard on September 14.
