Two men on Friday pleaded guilty before Nakuru Magistrate for stealing from their employer.
Reagan Ingati and Crescent Ipapa allegedly stole 5kgs of sugar, 2kgs of maize floor, 3kgs of cooking fat and 500grams of Omo detergent on July 22 at Carol Academy.
The two are servants of Carol Academy and the properties are valued Sh 1, 135.
According to police, the school headmistress had received a complaint that subordinate staff were stealing food stuffs and school property and selling them to the near by estates.
Together with other staffs, they went into servants quarters and searched, the foodstuffs were recovered in their house.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate, Doreen Mulekyo, they plead guilty for the charges. State prosecutor told the court that they were not ready with the exhibits and prayed for another date to avail the exhibits before court.
The magistrate ordered them to be remanded, the case will be mentioned on Monday for facts.
