Uasin Gishu County has employed 367 medical officers to be distributed in the six sub county hospitals in Uasin Gishu County.
Speaking in his office on Wednesday, Uasin Gishu County Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno said the medical officers will enhance service in all the sub counties in Uasin Gishu and promote quality of health services.
"We have employed 367 medical personnel which include nutritionists, dentists, nurses and doctors who have already been distributed to all the sub county hospitals. This will improve service delivery and provision of services to wanachi," he said.
He added that Uasin Gishu county government has acquired 10 ambulances to be launched later on Thursday which will enhance provision of emergency services thus reducing deaths.
