Youths in Kisii have been urged to utilise their time well and join higher institutions of learning to have a better future.

Speaking on Wednesday to this writer, St Ann’s College principal Mr Calvin Nyakwara said that youths should realise that time wasted is never recovered, further encouraging them to join higher institutions of learning to sharpen their skills and learn more.

“Youths in the society do not take immediate action of joining colleges or universities, not because of ignorance but due to sluggishness,” Nyakwara said.

He further urged them to take advantage of the mushrooming colleges in most parts of the country to enrich themselves with knowledge.

He welcomed those interested to join St Ann’s college, which is working in collaboration with St Paul University, saying their aim is to produce good students for a brighter tomorrow.

“As an institution, we need to let our students have to know what the world needs since it keeps changing and we need to inform young youths to take academics seriously for better tomorrow,” he added.
