As a way of ensuring that the primary school pupils in the county of Nyamira perform better in the National exams.
Euniah Ochoki has offered to help the primary schools’ candidates with examinations without paying any fee.
Euniah said that she will keep going on with the project until the county’s performance improves in the examinations.
She said the exams are good as they are set with the same standard with that of the national examinations council and that the pupils will be taking the examinations three times in a year so that when time for examination comes they will be used to the setting.
“They will be sitting for the exams three times a year and when the national exams come they will be used to it and they will have no fear,” she said.
The chairperson of Tombe zone George Araka who was in the company of Nyaikuro primary school head teacher Bethwel Marashi said that students have been doing well in Ochoki’s examinations adding that the exams helped their pupils improve as it brought competition across schools.
She also called on other well wishers to join hands with her in improving the education standards of Nyamira pupils adding that she wants to roll out the programme to other schools in the county.
