Kisii County deputy governor Joash Maangi has said his relationship with his boss cannot be broken.

The deputy governor claimed there were individuals out to cause a rift between him and Governor James Ongwae but added that they were wasting their time.

“There are some individuals scheming to divide us but I want to assure them that they will not succeed,” said Maangi.

He spoke on Wednesday when he launched a greenhouse at the Agriculture Training Centre.

Maangi said they were elected to serve the populace and will not renege on their election pledges to develop the county.

He urged locals to put aside their differences and support their leaders to bring about the change they want.

“This is the time that we need to deliver to our people and fulfill all the pledges that we promised them during our campaigns. My governor and I are united to ensure that all these are realised,” he concluded.
