A Nakuru TNA youth leader has slammed the team selected to represent the county in Friday’s prayers organised by the county government.

John Njoroge, a TNA youth leader in the county has cited the selection as unfair and asked the governor to use a team that will serve the interest of the entire county.

“The governor is unfair to call for National Prayer Breakfast for a few individuals to represent the interests of the people from this county. We as the opinion leaders of the county are very unhappy with this,” said Njoroge in a brief communication to the media on Thursday evening in the county.

Njoroge also threw blame to the team leader of the organising committee, Peter Mbae, for making a poor selection while stating that they are not happy with how the governor was referred to as the patron.

“This is unfair from the organising team which is led by Peter Mbae. The people invited were not duly selected as required,” he added.

The county prayers which have been organised by Nakuru County Government, Nakuru Christian Professionals Association and Nakuru Church Elders Council will mark the first time such event is held in the county.

The meeting is taking place at the Rift Valley Sports Club in Nakuru Town.
