Seven more people were on Monday killed along the Meru-Isiolo border as community clashes escalated.
This makes 10 the total of fatalities in the border clashes that have rocked the area since Saturday.
According to sources from Kinna in Isiolo South, two young men carrying goats on a motorbike in Igembe North were attacked and killed on the spot.
The attackers are said to have taken off with the goats and the bike.
Another man from the neighouring Isiolo was attacked by a mob when as he attempted to sell his goats at the market.
Fortunately, police came to his rescue and rushed him to Maua hospital.
He however succumbed to the injuries.
