Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan long-distance runner and the 2016 Olympic marathon gold medalist who has won 10 gold medals so far.
The latest gold medal he has won is the 2018 London Marathon in London on 22 April 2018, with a time of 2:04:17. Before that, he won the 2017 Berlin Marathon on 24 September 2017 in a time of 2:03:32
In 2016, Kipchoge won two gold medals; one from 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio De Janeiro on 21 August where he clocked 2:08:44, and the second from 2016 London Marathon in London on 24 April the same year.
In 2015, he also won two gold medals; Berlin Marathon on 27 September in 2:04:00 and the other London Marathon on 26 April 2015 in time of 2:04:11.
Kipchoge also won two gold medals in the year 2014. The first came from Chicago Marathon on 12 October in a period of 2:04:11 and early on 13 April in Rotterdam Marathon in a time of 2:05:00.
Eliud won his second gold medal in Hamburg Marathon on 21 April 2013 in a time of 2:05:30, which was the Marathon debut course record.
His first ever gold medal was from World Championship 5000 meters in a time of 12:52:79 in Paris on 31 August 2003. he was 18 years old.
Kipchoge has also won other medals beside golds. He has been described as “the greatest marathoner of the modern era"
