Esther Mwende Macharia is one of the talented radio presenters in the nation. She works with Standard Media Group as a radio presenter at Radio Maisha. Her sweet voice and mastery language whenever she is on air always drills the heart of many men across the country.
The queen of radio started her media career in the year 2007/2008 at Baraka FM as an intern in Mombasa. She later left the newsroom for an MC job as she was one of the best MC in Mombasa at that time.
Life as an MC wasn’t easy for her, she then returned on air at Seikh Radio Station owned by Tony Msalame in Mombasa. At Seikh Radio, Mwende gained more media experience as a radio presenter before moving to her current radio station, Radio Maisha. She hosts 'Maisha Connect', a show that has many followers most of them being men.
The queen of radio is also the founder of an organization that has specialized in youth mentorship. Whenever she is on air, Mwende takes her most time in inspiring youths who have more dreams in life.
