The government has set aside over ksh. 100 million for the building of a Technical training institute in Borabu constituency.
Delivering the good news to the residents, the deputy president while, in a fundraiser in Nyansiongo parish to help complete a church building,said that this could educe the burden of many kenyan youths in Kenya who are jobless and those that dont get a chance of advancing their studies to Universities and middle level colleges.
He said that the government is building a technical institute in every coustituency in the whole country to ensure that every brain and talent is utilised for the better of the country and create employments.
"We want to ensure that we create opportunity and improve the employability of the young people by equiping them with better skills for their own good and the nation with this we are training them on how to tackle the challenges of life through technical training," Said Ruto.
He said that by next year Nyamira county will be having fully equiped technical institutes where the next after Borabu will be one in Kitutu masaba constituency.
He urged leaders to shun divisive politics and instead work with the government inorder to help the common mwananchi.
"The citizens only want to see development no matter from the county or national government and we should play development politics and not making unnecessary noise, support the government in place and do development for your people", concluded Ruto.
The institutes will be built jointly with the constituency development funds( CDF) kitty.
