For the better part of Monday, Osoro spent time in interior villages of his constituency constructing new house for an impoverished family.

He wrote: "Going beyond the scope of our duty within the constituency today...the Nyagosia family were all smiles thereafter..from thatched to semi... #TomesieBogirango."https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2213593385331159&id=100000415580945.

At some time, the MP would be seen carrying iron sheets and even personally roofing the house as constituents stared from a distance.

His act has excited a section of social media users from Nyamira, some asking local MPs to borrow a leaf from him.

"Osoro has just showed those pessimists that it's about servant leadership. Those condemning him are mercenaries of MPs who have failed to account for NG-CDF," said Jacob Abere.

Kefa Moenga, a youth leader added: "Mr Osoro has just proved that he never forgets his dark past as a street boy. How I wish all MPs from our region join such efforts."

Contrary to statements circulating on social media, Osoro maintains that all funds used in the exercise are purely from his earnings as MP and not from CDF kitty.

The first term MP is chief campaigner of Deputy President William Ruto from the larger Gusii region.
