Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has created a buzz on social media after he declared his candidate of choice in the 2022 presidential poll.
In a tweet, the former student leader explained that leadership is more than just region/tribe and emphasised that whether former Prime Minister Raila Odinga vies or not, he will still vote for him.
"Hon Moses Kuria has made it clear that, one of you being the President is not a guarantee for better treatment! It's all about leadership, not region/tribe. I will vote for Raila Odinga in 2022 & should he decide not to vie, I will add his name to my ballot paper and vote for him," he tweeted.

Babu's pronouncement comes at a time when Odinga has insisted that he will not be going for the top seat in 2022.
Speaking at a recent interview, the former premier noted that his focus was on uniting Kenyans and performing his continental duties.
Meanwhile, the legislator also announced that he will be issuing bursary forms over the weekend at chief camps in the constituency.
"I will issue bursary forms on Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm at Chief's camp in various wards. Bursaries will be awarded on the basis of first come first serve to avoid being biased," he tweeted.
