Majority leader Aden Duale on Saturday held a joint rally with Governor Ali Korane for the first-time after his name surfaced over the high profile shooting case of a former CEC Idris Mukhtar.
The duo met in Bura grounds of Fafi sub-county in Garissa county during the launch of 'Mashinani Program.'
Speaking during the launch, Duale urged the local communities to rally behind the local and national governments in maintaining peace and unity as the only way to help security agencies in the war against Alshabab.
"I urge all our communities to work with the national and local governments. The fight against insecurity demands joint efforts from all the levels of governments," issued Duale.
The Garissa Township MP further thanked Ali Korane's government creating a good working relationship with all local leaders for a sustained development.
The joint Saturday rally is the very first between the duo after leaders allegedly blamed Duale for linking Ali Korane with the attempted assassination of CEC Idris Mukhtar.
