Nyoro noted that Waititu beat Kabogo in the polls because he offered him the best advice and strategies.

Speaking to journalists in Limuru Town on Monday, Nyoro said that Waititu would have lost to Kabogo if he had refused to heed his political advice.

The Deputy Governor said that he advised Waititu to form the United for Kiambu Alliance that involved other top brains among them Reverend  David Kariuki alias Gakuyo.

The Kiambu politician further argued that the Alliance is what guaranteed Waititu his win in the August 8 polls.

"We held over 17 strategic meetings with Waittiu and others trying to figure out how to defeat Kabogo," he said.

Nyoro who had also declared interest in the governor seat same as Gakuyo, said that Waititu would have lost if they had all been on the ballot.

He said Kabogo is a clever politician, adding that it is their unity that saw him defeated.

Nyoro further said that Kabogo had laid a strong foundation for his re-election but failed because of his poor public relations skills.

The Kiambu Deputy Governor said that defeating Kabogo was a big achievement, adding that  Waititu and other leaders in the county should now focus on service delivery.

He said that Kabogo will easily make a come-back in 2022 if Waititu's administration fails to deliver on its promises.

Nyoro who has been engaging in leadership wrangles with Waititu said that elected leaders must settle down and work for the people.
