The National Cohesion and Integration Commission will train 1,000 police officers to help track hate mongers across the country.
NCIC Commissioner Roba Sharamo said the Commission has already written to the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet over the same.
Mr Sharamo said after the officers have been trained, they will be dispatched to various counties after which they will not be transferred to any other region.
He said the officers to be dispatched across the country will have recording gadgets with them which they will use to collect hate evidence.
"They will attend and monitor political rallies and funerals to detect cases of hate speech," he said.
Sharamo was speaking during the launch of Voice of Concern Cohesion, Integration and Human Right Advocacy Campaign by the Community Support for Development in Kisumu .
The project or campaign aims at calling on responsible leaders more so women and society to provide cohesion, integration and human rights within the county both politically as the country heads to 2017 elections.
