The drivers led by Robert Onderi claimed that Matiang'i has been using police officers more especially those manning roadblocks to harass probox drivers.

"Matiang'i has until Monday, December 31, 2018 to apologize to us and assure us that there will be no harassment from security officers failure to which he will get it rough," said Onderi.

Mr. Onderi confirmed that probox drivers have been adhering to the set traffic rules but, police have been soliciting bribes from them.

"We have met all the set road rules but, police have refused to give us peace. We need to be respected as other drivers because we are not running illegal business," he noted.

Douglas Mochama stated that Matiang'i should order police officers to stop taking advantage of the famous 'Michuki rules' to harass probox drivers.

"Implementation of 'Michuki rules' doesn't mean we be harassed. We are tired with police blackmail and intimidation," he stated.
