Deputy President William Ruto has been challenged to shut up and allow ODM party leader Raila Odinga to help President Uhuru Kenyatta in the fight against corruption.
Musa Juma, a Muslim leader based in Kisii County on Monday said Ruto is young to continue insulting the Former Prime minister.
"It is sad that DP Ruto is engaging Raila Odinga who taught him on how to play politics in this country. If DP Ruto doesn't want to be part of leaders fighting corruption he should shut up his mouth and allow Raila to work closely with President Uhuru in the graft war," he said.
Musa said Ruto won't succeed in diverting the attention of Kenyans due to the hiked graft.
"No Kenyan is willing to listen to DP Ruto following his stand-in graft war. Ruto is the second in command who should be at the forefront fighting corruption but, we are seeing the opposite. Raila is an elderly person who deserves respect. Ruto should compete with his age mates and leave Raila alone," he noted.
He said Ruto's insults to Raila will cost him in 2022 when he will be contesting for Presidency.
DP Ruto and Raila Odinga have been in hitting each other in public over the war against graft with Ruto claiming that Raila's main aim is to taint his name and kill his political ambitions
