Borabu MP Ben Momanyi on Sunday assured his constituents that he will not engage his rivals because he is busy delivering his campaign promises.

The vocal lawmaker said his rivals should not waste time criticizing his leadership.

"I wish to reiterate that I'm not willing to continue answering back to my critics who have no much work to do. My constituents elected me to serve but, not focusing on unnecessary criticism," he said.

The Wiper party MP regretted that ongoing graft in this country will derail development.

He suggested that corrupt leaders and public servants should be sent sacked, arrested and be sent to jail.

"Money meant for development is being diverted into some individuals' pockets. I call upon the President Mr Uhuru Kenyatta not to spare anyone engaging in corruption because at the end his Big 4 Agenda will be derailed," said Momanyi.

Mr Momanyi appealed to elected leaders in Nyamira County to focus on development because Nyamira is lagging behind in matters development.

The lawmaker was speaking on Sunday when he presided over the opening of a staff house at St. Mathias Mulumba Girls Secondary school.
