Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has hit back at his Nyeri Town counterpart Ngunjiri Wambugu, telling him to stop lecturing him over issues concerning the Jubilee party.
Sudi posted the message on his official Facebook page in response to Ngunjiri's post that reminded him of those who were allegedly responsible for the 2007 post-election violence and how President Uhuru Kenyatta conviced the Mt Kenya region to support William Ruto.
Sudi argued that he was not a handout politician like Wambugu whom he accused of engaging in retrogressive politicians.
The vocal MP further told off Wambugu, claiming he defected to the Jubilee Party in the run-up to 2017 general elections just to clinch the seat, adding that Wambugu is an "ODM stooge" with no authority to comment on matters pertaining to the President Uhuru-led party.
"You are a known ODM stooge who came to Jubilee just the other day to win votes in Nyeri but your comments are proof that you are still spewing ODM hangovers. You, therefore, have no moral authority to lecture us in Jubilee," read part of Sudi's post.
Sudi further faulted Wambugu for accusing him of tribalism, adding the war against graft should not be politicised.
"I am not a tribal bigot as you may try to portray...I am fighting the selective purge on corruption because I know many public servants are working in fear and uncertainty. I am representing all Kenyan public servants who cannot discharge their duties freely because of fear of malicious prosecutions and media maligning. I won't change my position that the ongoing fight against corruption is meant to shape 2022 politics," he added.
