Businesses came into standstill on Thursday at Kebirigo shopping center when a bodaboda rider engaged in a fist fight with his boss over Sh400.
Witnesses said trouble started when the rider Albert Maonda refused to pay his boss, Douglas Makori Sh400 he owes him.
"Makori found Maonda at the boda boda stage and demanded Sh400 from him which he owes him. Maonda refused to produce the money prompting to the physical fight," said Sarah Barongo, a witness.
Mrs. Barongo said Makori overpowered Maonda something that forced other bodaboda riders to intervene.
Michale Ombasa the stage official said the two were stopped from fighting after a 10 minutes fight.
"We questioned Makori why he was causing trouble and we got to know that Maonda has been lying to him about the Sh400 which he didn't pay him last week," he said.
Mr. Ombasa ordered Maonda to pay Makori his Sh400.
" It is high time all boda boda riders to maintain a good name in the transport industry by treating clients well and paying motorbike owners without delay," Mr. Ombasa added.
