Nairobi police on Monday shot dead two suspected gangsters at Jogoo Road's Burma market.

According to reports, the two were caught by officers from Buruburu as they (suspects) tried to break into an M-Pesa shop.

Confirming the incident, Buruburu OCPD Geoffrey Mayiek said that his officers in the operation recovered a gun and three rounds of ammunition from the suspects.

However, two more suspects managed to escape.
