Deputy President William Ruto has been asked to stop worrying about the 2022 polls.
Former Kisii gubernatorial hopeful Chris Obure told Ruto that he will have support from the region to floor opposition leader Raila Odinga should he decide to vie in 2022.
"I don't see the reason why DP Ruto will continue worrying about 2022 presidential polls because he has a team to help him win the presidency easily come 2022," he said.
Obure termed Raila a "tired politician who is dwelling much on propaganda" instead of retiring.
He insisted that the opposition team is not ready to form the next government.
"Raila shortchanged opposition leaders to shake hands with President Uhuru Kenyatta alone. It is important for Kenyans to know that the opposition coalition is not willing and ready to form the next government," he stated.
The former Kisii Senator appealed to Nyamira and Kisii leaders to support a winning presidential candidate come 2022 adding that the Gusii community won't continue being in the political cold.
Obure was speaking on Monday during the official launch and registration of Huduma Namba in Suneka, Bonchari.
