Coast-based side Bandari FC fans are adamant that their club will win this season’s Ssportspesa Premier League.
Bandari, who are on a fine form are on top of the league with 28 points, having played 13 games, winning 8 drawing 4 and losing 1 match.
Speaking after beating Sportpesa Super Cup winners Kariobangi Sharks by one goal to nil on Saturday at Moi Kasarani, the club fans who travelled all the way from Mombasa to Nairobi to support the team expressed their joy and congratulated the players for the hard work they have been putting of late.
The fans said they feel the club is better placed to clinch the league this season, all thanks to the hard work they have been putting in and maturity of most of their players.
The fans also praised the Club’s head coach Bernard Mwalala for the good work he has been putting in since taking over the club's reigns, and they believe they will be better with time.
They narrowly lost 1-0 to Kariobangi Sharks in the final of the Sportspesa Super Cup a week ago, but have bounced back to continue with their impressive league form.
Bandari have never won the league in their history but finished second in 2018.
Their next match will be against Nzoia Sugars on Saturday 23rd.
